Although the focus has been on who gets the Vikings team name (very minor issue), nothing has been said about what is happening with the Vikings and Giants for the rest of this year. I have posted that the Titans are ready to play the Vikings in Week 2 and no one has responded about coaching them. Is this going to fall on John again? Do we have a potential coach in the pipeline?
The Vikings seem like a potential playoff team. I haven't looked at the Giants very closely.

Just prioritizing this as the more important issue for General Discusssion.

Some Random thoughts in no particular order:
1. Eliminate them completely from this season and swap opponents. The Week 2 Vikings opponent plays the Week 2 Giants opponent and so on. This will create an uneven schedule but will not require anyone to play any games. I have not checked to ensure that the "opponent" is not Player A's other team.
2. Play the games while we seek new coaches. I'd be happy to play games, if necessary. The new coach can be people with 1 team or people we seek out.
3. Ask the fairly "new" players to each play a few of the games while we are seeking new coaches. It can't hurt for the "new" guys to play more games and learn the game. Heck, if someone wants to take the Vikings for the season only -- let that player qualify for the playoffs.

We could do options 2 and/or 3 for the immediate future while we see if anyone will take the the team(s). If no luck by game 4 then we should consider option 1 for the last 12 games. To anyone looking at them, theGiants have all their draft choices and no extras. The Vikings while being a better team, are missing their 1st and 5th in 2019 and 1st in 2020 with no extras. I am available to play but not tomorrow.

I lean towards suggestion #1.

Revised Schedule if Giants and Vikings are eliminated from the schedule.

I would vote for #1. We have 15 games left with both teams. That will be a real grind.

Re-prioritizing this issue again. Much more important than Vikings team name discussion.

Dave,
On my list of things to do. I'm led to believe he's not interested, but i'm going to chat with him anyway.

Waiting on decisions by Rich & Ryan. Should know in a few days. If someone does take a team it would be difficult to reverse an option 1.

If this was I vote I would select option 1. Obviously, preference would be to have the teams taken over by new owners.
