How was the penalty card determined?

We use the most "even" penalty card each year. In the event of a tie (as we had last year), there was a discussion on which team to take. The Packers and Colts had a net equal penalty card with the Packers being 8-8 and the Colts being 9-9. The Colts were selected.

To add a little more -- we decided to use an "average" penalty card. The "average" for stock team penalty cards this season is 10 for and 10 against. Each team was assigned the Buffalo penalty card -- 11 / 11.
I think going forward we should consider less frequent penalties.

We should be using penalty cards that best simulate the average amount of penalties in the prior seasons NFL games regardless of frequency.

We should be using penalty cards that best simulate the average amount of penalties in the prior seasons NFL games regardless of frequency. Through 100 games, the OFM 11/11 card is blowing away the 2021 NFL penalty numbers. We made a mistake choosing that card.
