Three past members of our league got together at one of their houses Sunday. One of them just found out that a co-worker has CoVid19 so now they are under self quarantine for 14 days.
It's easy to see how easily it can spread. (I had been planning to get together with them next week)
Let's be careful out there.

I would suggest we lighten up on the deadlines for our league. I don't think our league is essential to the American way of life.

Catching up to complete a 16 game season will likely be impossible. One possibility would be to declare the regular season over with the standings as is and hopefully proceed with the playoffs in June.
The seedings, including tie-breaker would be as follows...
AFC
1 Bears 2 Jets 3 Titans 4 Oilers 5 Packers 6 Rams
NFC
1 Chargers 2 Ravens 3 Broncos 4 Raiders 5 Cowboys 6 Lions
Additionally, in fairness I think any team within 1 game of a playoff spot should receive a compensatory draft pick at the end of the first round.
These teams would be...
Vikings Chiefs Jaguars Patriots Steelers Saints

I would like to not cancel if possible. Could we play some games online instead?

Why don't we just see how many games we can get through before the end of June? Maybe by the beginning of June we decide the week number everyone needs to get through (i.e. week 14). As much as the Chiefs would enjoy a pick at the end of the 1st round as well, that seems like far too much compensation.

I’m definitely not in favor of ending the season as is and think if you proceed with appropriate caution you can still get games played. We basically have till just before Labor Day weekend to get it all completed.

We could also increase the number of teams in the playoffs for this most unusual of seasons. Top 8 teams after everyone plays 12 games. No byes. No additional picks.

Not in favor of more than 50% of the league getting in. Also that penalizes the top 2 teams in each conference by forcing them to play an extra game and forcing them to risk injuries

I’m not in favor of any of this. We have 5+ months to get this done.
