Big Wish List
1) Games played on time 2) Draft league defensive cards 3) Limit "card abuse"* 4) Stop making arbitrary rule and rate adjustments
Mini Wish List
1) Eliminate "These are my dudes" 2) Put our safeties back where they belong 3) Eliminate the scramble chart (flaws in the chart can cause a result that cannot happen-Must Run) 4) Eliminate the holding in the end zone chart (Does not account for holding penalties near the goal line on run plays) 5) Adjust OFM punt out of bounds rules to match SOM rules
*To be clear, an example of what I mean are runners with less than 50 carries or low pass attempt QB's playing as starters. I'm not looking to put limitations on all players based on their actual usage.
Thanks Santa,

I’d would like to run the “zone blitz” defense, made famous by Carolina & Pittsburgh. Please tell me this option is available in Pat-O-Matic. How about the fumblerooski? Great offensive play.

Perhaps a “rare play” chart. Or a “fog bowl” option which makes passing extremely difficult. I’m so excited 😆 I’m a Pat-O-Matic fanatic 👍

1) Games played on time
Only if people cared as much about this then they do about a WR having a long of 37 yds things would be a lot better.

All kidding aside, I think NFL Ed has addressed some concerns relative to draft defenses. Check the big forum to see his replay to Pat's question. It probably should be posted here for those who don't have a clue waht's going on have a least a little more understanding of the situation.

5) Adjust OFM punt out of bounds rules to match SOM rules
Please remind of the Strat rule.

5) Adjust OFM punt out of bounds rules to match SOM rules Please remind of the Strat rule. COFFIN CORNER PUNT Follow the above punting procedures but before rolling the dice announce this is a coffin corner punt. After rolling for the punt and determining the initial punt distance roll all 4 dice. Add the white die together with the two red dice and subtract this distance from the punt giving the adjusted punt distance. If the black die is an X then the punt stays in-bounds and it may be returned. If the black die is a blank or a “D” then the punt goes out-of-bounds. If the adjusted punt distance reaches the goal line, or it goes out of bounds past the goal line, then a touchback occurs (no return is possible). EXAMPLE: Say the ball is on the defensive 35-yard line and a coffin corner punt is attempted. The initial roll indicates a punt of 43 yards to the #1 Back. Do not attempt a punt return yet. Instead, roll all 4 dice. Let’s say a black “D” was rolled along with a white three and two red sixes. 3+6+6 = 15 (this is the yardage to subtract from the initial punt distance). 43-15 = 28. Therefore, this is a 28-yard punt that goes out of bounds on the 7-yard line. Had the black die been an “X” then the ball would not have gone out of bounds and the number one punt returner could have elected to try and return it.

1) Games played on time If we actually enforce our rules (except in case of triple bypass ) we will be fine. If I can't get my game in, feel free to play it against a proxy as long a that proxy gives a *^%$%. 2) Draft league defensive cards Nope3) Limit "card abuse"* Ok4) Stop making arbitrary rule and rate adjustments I believe we can all think of a coach or two that are always looking to change rules, one of which you know fairly intimately 1) Eliminate "These are my dudes" Ok2) Put our safeties back where they belong Anything for you, I can go either way.3) Eliminate the scramble chart (flaws in the chart can cause a result that cannot happen-Must Run) Ok4) Eliminate the holding in the end zone chart (Does not account for holding penalties near the goal line on run plays) Ok

P.S. Just please don't sit on my lap

You are correct. There will be no lap dances even to get my wish list changes, lol.
