In 1972 Chicago Bears quarterback Bobby Douglass rushed for an unprecedented 968 in 14 games as a QB, a record which would stand for the next 34 years. In 2006, Michael Vick becomes the 1st and only QB in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. Here's a look see at their SOM cards. Who would you prefer? Have a favorite of your own? I did OK with the Vick card:
Rushing Att. Yds. Avg. LG TD EP Vick 221 1510 6.8 43 11 0
Passing Att. Comp. Yds. Pct. TD Int. Tkld. Loss Rate Vick 375 196 3279 52.3 38 17 20 -137 97.0
His best rushing game was against the Steelers: 27 carries for 216 yards. His best passing game was against the Browns 22/41 421 5 Tds 2 Ints
Vick was awesome but B. Douglass linebuck looks inviting.
