I’ve noticed that if a overused player that is only supposed to miss one game and that player is the visiting team on the following game then he is inactive for BOTH games if the league is not updated between games.

How do you/we know how many a player is supposed to sit out?

Is it possible that one game was a week 9 game and he was overused in week 8, thus scheduled to miss 9. Then while playing other block 3 games, he also accrued enough usage to miss the following week?

How is your computer to know that I already played a game without the player when you pull pregame files that have not been updated?

How are you tracking that relative to other people's games? I've had zero players sit out for usage.

Thru 9 games Kyler Murray threw 314 passes. During game 10 he had 51 attempts putting him over the limit of 34-35 attempts per game for game 11. But then, after averaging 25.5 attempts over games 10 and 11, he was somehow unavailable for game 12.

I think it is an update issue (but I have no factual basis for this). Chris played two games on the same day with the same team with no league updates in between. My "math" indicates Kyler Murray should have been available for game 12. Of course, the corollary is that players that might not have been available with an update were likely available.

Sounds like having a good backup is becoming more important if you have usage problems. Kirk Cousins will have issues next year.

Definitely.
The problem is that a player’s availability sometimes depends on who is hosting the game.
