With usage limits passing, I would like to propose adding a 3 player "injured reserve" to each team. Any NC player can fill IR spots; however, if they have been a NC for 3 consecutive seasons, they cannot be retained. Now that we have usage limits on all skill position players, this would allow teams greater roster flexibility and help ensure that each team has an adequate number of touches. IR spots would still count towards position maximums to prevent hoarding.
Last year every OFM team had at least 3 NC players on their roster, so everyone should be impacted equally by this proposal.

No; we have 53 man rosters without cuts. This will equal 56 man teams without cuts. 72 more players out of the draft pool the following season.

I'm going to say "Yes" to this in theory, but to Rich's point our rosters are larger than the amount of active players we're supposed to allow for each game which is 46. We have no way to find out who's supposed to be inactive so I think roster size should be discussed for the 2024 season, possible reducing it to 46. My two cents for now.
