Gentlemen: I have attached some rules proposals for your consideration. These proposals are based upon feedback that I have received from league members throughout the season. If anyone has other proposals, please post them for league consideration. For the "new" members: Please note that there is no league commissioner and all rules changes require a majority of the league members to approve. Please do NOT vote Yes or No at this time. I would like people to provide commentary and criticisms. Sometimes a criticism or alternative proposal will change your mind! Thereafter, we will have a "voting" period. 2023-24 Rules Proposals.pdf (202.69 KB)

I like all as written with the exception of #2. Nothing wrong with #2 per say, just my personal preference. That being said, I can live with it if it were to be approved.

Well it appears most people don't have any opinion so it may be time to put a deadline on discussion and then move this along for a majority vote of people who want to vote so we can get down to assigning divisions and prepare/choose a draft date. Maybe the 16th of July to end the discussion portion of the proposals?

I'm not in favor of any of these. I thought this season was pretty good the way we had it (with the 2nd half of season penalty card change).
I'm a No for #1 and I don't think #2 is necessary.
I actually thought we were already playing with proposal #3. I played that way this season including WR3
If #4 were to pass, ok, but I wouldn't vote yes. I agree it adds more variability but depending on the wind, a coach makes certain choices on 3rd and long from the 35yd line. That coach almost always understands the wind direction while this adds equal probability of +5 or -5 yes in same quarter..
If #5 were to pass, ok, but I wasn't seeking out
Just my opinions and where I stand
