I’d like to see a rule that requires every team to either through the draft or via trade have the proper depth for injuries even thought they are limited I don’t think a mystery 0 rated player should be put on anyone’s roster for any reason . If you make a trade and you trade your depth you should have to acquire the sufficient depth to play the game I don’t understand it to be honest thanks because it then appears the starter will never get injured providing an unfair advantage

We do make sure that QB and as many other positions have back-ups to their position. What we did in the past was, you could play a guy out of position as a 0-0 the computer game will not allow that. The computer game forces you to be able to "field" a team for every formation in order to Validate the rosters. If you're a 4-3 you have to carry 2 ILB's in order to be a 3-4. And we try to get as close as we can. Obviously there are a couple of positions it is impossible for every team to have a back-up at (K,P). I understand that you should have at least one back-up for every position. But If you're a 4-3 defense I'm not sure you need 2 back=up DT's or if you're a 3-4 that you have to carry 4 ILB's.
