Gentleman,
I'm sure this will be a somewhat delicate subject for some, but many of us have been tap dancing around since block 4 as to how to handle the Packers franchise moving forward. It has been decided that the time is now to make an announcement to continue the league moving in the right direction.
The owners below have determined it's time to remove Carl Pickering as the owner of the Packers.Those owners are as follows;
Brian Davenport (Patriots/Jaguars) Pat Hoglund (Raiders/Texans) Rich Holmberg (Jets/Chargers) Ryan Davenport (Redskins/Ravens) Mark Rensenbrink (Bears/Titans) Anthony Juliano (Chiefs/Giants) Gary Darrow (Colts) Andy Nichols (49ers) Jimmy Zubrzycki (Seahawks/Vikings)
That is 9 of the existing owners which is more than the majority needed to approve this decision. Those who are on the aforementioned list please verify your vote accordingly. One of the owners above has a replacement ready to take over the Packers roster as is.
If you have any additional commentary to add to this string, feel free to do so.
Thanks,
Brian

Of course my official vote is "Yes" to remove based on the following reasons.
1) Unwillingness to buy/play the balance of 2019-2020 season via computer as decided by the majority of the league. 2) Leading us to believe the proper tools (Computer, Internet and actual game) were in place to play the 2020-2021 season primarily via computer as decided by the majority of the league. 3) Because of the reasons mentioned in #2, games were trying to be crammed in by visiting Illinois during the last week of each block because it was necessary to use John's computer and game. That in combination with limited days to play certainly was not a good situation. 4) Once being eliminated from the playoff scenario, declining to finish his last 3 games.
The league should not accept this type of behavior from any owner, now or going forward. It's inconvenient, inconsiderate and unfair to the other owners.

The Titans were one of the three teams Carl decided not to coach against. Rich Holmberg coached the Packers in his place. Talk about an unfair switch in coaches. The Titans made the playoffs despite losing to the Packers, but that was the last straw for me. I vote to try someone else in Carl's spot. It is obvious that he is not going to conform to how the league is going to be run going forward.

Personally, I think it’s unfair to remove Carl. While he failed to get his computer game to work, he did make the effort to drive from Florida 3 times in order to fulfill his obligation to the league to get his games in on time. He missed playing the last 3 games and was ready to abide by the rule that was just implemented last summer. If he failed again to be able to play by computer from home, I would understand.
This is just a crappy thing to do.
John.

I agree it is a crappy thing to do (to any owner). However lying to the entire league about obtaining the game and the ability to play online is a crappy thing to do to every other owner in the league. Please correct me if I am wrong because my vote was entirely contingent upon the misrepresentation of the ability to play online games. I, of all people, understand preferring in person games and wanting to play that way. To blatantly lie about being able to play online is disrespectful to everyone else in the league.
Also, Mark's point is a fair one that raises a concern for another discussion thread. Mark and I rarely agree, but I do empathize with his implications.

Rich hasn't confirmed yet, but that's 8 of the 9 involved which is still majority. I'll let Rich introduce the new owner as he sees fit.
Thanks,
Brian

Agree to remove Pick for the reasons listed above along with others. I am hoping that the league we become has owners that are all active; competent; and considerate. Consideration means communicating: texting, calling, and emailing to set up games and to play in a timely fashion.
