In order to play "Blocking Back" the player must be rated as either a "BB" or "FB" or as a "HB" with a 4 run block rating. Even though the computer game allows you to play any TE or HB at BB; our rules prevent it. The computer will allow you to select the formation; however, it is an illegal formation. It is the duty of the offense not to intentionally run an illegal formation; the defense must be diligent in policing illegal formations.
All HBs/FBs/QBs who have 51 or more rushing attempts can be used without limitation. If the player has 50 or less rushing attempts, the player may run 5 times a game. This must also be "policed" by both coaches. Linebucks and "must runs" are not counted as rushing attempts for QBs.
If you play 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 HB/FB -- and the defense guesses "pass" it is considered a "right" if the "white die" result is a 1. (in short, you are trying to run out of a passing formation so your offense suffers a penalty).
If you Double Team with a FS or extra DB, the defender goes to the zone where the pass is thrown. If you double team with a LB, the LB does NOT go to the zone.
Know the "Contain" rules -- LB and SS.
