Gentleman,
As we venture into next season, I was curious to see where everyone may lie on the use of a neutral penalty card for all teams? While we have the ability to retain and or draft new stock defenses each season, penalties are thrust upon us based on that individual teams performance. I am of the opinion that we as owners and coaches are not developing our teams to the point where someone should have an advantage or disadvantage in game play because of a penalty card. What i'd like to suggest is we consider using a stock penalty card from the upcoming set for all teams closet to +/- 0. If after one season we think it's bad, we can always go back to the current method.
I believe that this potential change gives no owner an advantage or disadvantage. In addition with the potential for less frequency of penalties in a game, may speed up gameplay as well.
Thoughts?

My feeling is we go one way or the other. Penalties, Defense and Special Team Defense are currently linked together. Either we stay the same or go all generic. I don't feel we should just break one away from the others.

I'm for keeping penalties, defenses and ST with how we've been doing it

I think keeping them all together per the cards and not generic is the way I would rather play.
