I'm pretty sure we'll have the full compliment of 24 as between Ryan and I, We have 2-3 new people confirmed to account for at least 3 teams. i have others in mind should anybody reduce their amount of teams or drop out.
Confirmed Brian D-2
Ryan D-2 Pat H-2
Rich H-2
Pete B-2
Anthony J-2 Mark R-2 Dave R-1
Unconfirmed, Presumed John Z-2
Awaiting Reply Chris 1-2
Unknown For Technical Reasons Carl P-1 Alex-1
Out Brent L Peter K
New Players will account for at least 3 confirmed teams and Ryan has another potential player lined up as well. This is assuming the season is starting with computer play and if any face to face is played, computer is still an option for play. Obviously there's more to be worked out, but didn't want to start too much on the forum about that since we're still trying to get through this season.
Despite the loss of Brent, We'll get stronger in the long run with more options for all who are committed to playing.

As everyone knows, no one is out of the league unless they quit or are voted out. No one enters the league unless they are voted in.
By later this year or next year, I expect to return to board game format. I, for one am not interested in a computer league.

Well clearly things are changing, primarily because we've been forced to change. That's not my opinion, that's a fact.
Nobody has to like it, but if they want to continue to play, they have to accept that the computer format for now is our option. While you expect this or that, the current fact of the matter is there are still people in the league who are locking down and don't expect to be playing face to face games anytime again soon under any circumstances. Their quotes, not mine.
When you say "By later this year or next year" do you have a time frame in mind? That's pretty vague and next year is six months and half a season away. How are you planning to deal with those who will not play face to face games?
All my questions above are legitimate questions and there's hardly a doubt that unless there's a complete shift in some peoples mindset regarding their personal safety and playing that there's a high likeliness that this version of OFM starts next year via PC.
We've actually got bigger problems than which format we're using. We've hardly enforced a league rule in years and that's a huge part of our problem. People just do whatever they want, play whenever they want and so forth. That has to end, period. No debate. It's completely unfair to the committed players. Look at where we're at now. We can't even get people to finish 6-7 weeks of games in a 10 week period since the PC version was approved for play the 1st week of May.
We need to make no mistake that no player is more important than the league itself, including me. So at this time my only question to you is this; Assuming nothing changes in the next 45 days or so with those who will not play face to face games will you be participating at the beginning of the season if the PC version is still part of the play format?
