FROM BRIAN D:
Gentleman,
A few items about the impending dispersal draft need be finalized.
1) The league voted at the Super Bowl to have the draft held in person rather than conducting it via the internet or email.
2) A decision by the league needs to be made as to the length of each round. It was suggested at the Super Bowl that the length be 2 minutes for each choice in rounds 1-5 and then 1 minute thereafter.
3) With the delay in the cards, a projected dispersal draft date should be chosen to the agreement of Tony, Ryan and Mark.
4) With the delay in the cards, a drop dead date should also be chosen. This date should be decided upon by the league where the dispersal draft is held with or without cards in hand.
5) Once the dates have been decided, a time and location need to be determined. If my house is to be the location, I am free nearly anytime except Tuesday nights.
The draft order has been determined. Draft style has been determined (Serpentine). All team names have been chosen with the exception of Mark deciding on his new team names. I believe Pat Hoglund will be assisting with the clerical role for the draft (Excel entry). I believe it would be good to have additional league member(s) keep the timer and fill in the draft board. This should allow the draft to run smoothly and keep it on a timely basis. This will also allow for the owners to concentrate on their draft selections.
Keep in mind the regular draft is scheduled for Sunday 09-04-16.
Mark, feel free to post this on the league forum as you see fit. Same with the new 3 die injury chart. I didn’t think about this initially, plus i’m not sure everybody is on the forum just yet.
Let the discussion begin.
Thanks,
Brian D.
