The Steelers played a dazzling style of defense with an extra DB and an excellent 0-man long pass card, double teaming and flooding the FP zones, leaving the Bears coach to think "what the hell can I call on offense".
Bears opened the game unable to gain a yard from their own 23 and thus began the pattern of the Steelers drives falling just short of FG range. The Bears 2nd drive got them within the Steelers 10 but fumbled the ball away. The Steelers missed a long FG and the 1st quarter ended in a 0-0 score.
The Bears scored a TD and later intercepted a pass that resulted in a FG. The Steelers scored a TD making it 10-7 at the half. A pattern of Bears scoring a TD and the Steelers responding each quarter continued for a final score of Bears 24-Steelers 21.
Pete played an aggressive game by going for it on 4th down a couple of times but was unfortunate in being unable to convert. Russell Wilson had a good night and ran his MRs well but ERs of -7 stalled drives.
Pete, great season with both teams, and as always you were a good guy and a good (pain) coach to play against.

This was Bears@Panthers ... just a slight correction
It was a fun, very competitive game.
