Sorry, I disagree with the claiming rights.....I believe the nameing rights should stay with the teams until it is determined if and when someone takes on such teams.... That is exactley what happed with the viking name and if im not mistaken it was told name stays with team until determination or lack of new team owner.....nothing personal ryan but I vite no

I'm OK with him taking the team name.
Now to the larger matter at hand-
While I cannot say with 100% certainty, With he departures of Brent and Peter K it looks like there will be at least 4 teams and possibly more (Seahawks) going by the wayside heading into next season. I believe the plan should be like we did before and use a dispersal draft method for the new owners so they get to develop their own team. At a minimum it will require two new owners and possibly 3-4. I've got at least one person lined up for two new teams assuming we're sticking on the PC method for the foreseeable future and one for 1 team. I believe Ryan has somebody potentially interested in a team as well.
I've actually spoken with Pat, Ryan D, Mark, Rich and Dave and their plans are to return next season.
While i've been trying to avoid this conversation, I think it's time for the balance of existing owners to make decisions for next year so if this version of the league is to continue, we have a plan in place as the clock is ticking. If we want to get back on time, there needs to be a plan. Our normal draft date is just 8 weeks away, the preview is scheduled to be out Friday and it all will be on us faster than we realize.
Based on John's commentary suggesting that everybody purchase the PC version of the game next year along with the cards that he's returning with the Broncos and Oilers.
I assume Alex (Seahawks) will be out. He cannot seem to get his game up and running and thus has not played a single PC game. He was badly behind during our FTF C&D version so again, it may not be the right time for him to be in the league.
Carl-Time to make a decision about your future as well. Are you willing to purchase the PC game for next season? Playing games using a PC proxy is not an acceptable way going forward. It's inconvenient for all and just adds far, far too much time to game play which is a big complaint for some people.
Anthony-Chiefs, Giants? Pete B-Steelers, Panthers Chris-Eagles, Lions?
So as I see it, at least (5) teams would be part of a dispersal draft (Bears, Ravens, Vikings, Saints, Seahawks) requiring at least three new owners. This makes for a pretty attractive player pool and shouldn't be too hard to gather interest for potential owners. I think I have 2/3 (Three total teams) of that covered. If Anthony decides to stay and continue with two teams, I would suggest we give him a one time opportunity to participate in a dispersal draft giving up the Giants. He took on that complete pile of shit team almost as a courtesy to the league since nobody wanted them, thus he should be afforded the opportunity to develop his own second team.
Additional thoughts-If you are an existing owner with two teams who struggles to keep up regardless of playing C&D or PC versions of the game for whatever real life reason gets in the way, consider going to one team. You won't hurt anybody's feelings. It's considerably easier to line up a replacement player using the PC version rather than FTF C&D. Being constantly behind cannot be the way in the future. We've gotten way too lax on this over the last few years and it needs to be corrected. When time allows and a team becomes available, you can always pick up a secong team at that point.
Last comment-Let's not lose any focus turning this post into a rules debate of sort with commentary like, i'm only in if this or i'm out if that. Everybody will need to be flexible here as no matter what PC version rules are in place for next season and they will almost certainly not meet everyone's criteria for game play.
It's in or out for now, that's it. Once we know how many, then it's fill the empty spots.

Brent departed, Peter has not.
Assumptions about someone's team are . . . assumptions.
No, it is NOT time for me to make a decision on my "future". I am concentrating on this season, the "present".
Time spent playing a game on a computer? You ain't seen nuthin' yet !!!
Me at a computer . . . turtles and snails are rockets in comparison !!!

Hey Pick,
Here's one for you-f*** Off. I'm pretty damn confident that a vast majority of the league is tired of your bullshit. You tried holding the league hostage and we moved forward without you on board. we will do it again, so keep it up. Try like acting like a normal person from Earth once instead of an alien...again you're continuous contrarian shit is old.
Bye Felicia

Interesting language.
I have not tried holding the league "hostage" at any time.
And what is everyone tired of?
And how am I being "contrarian"? If by pointing out a flaw or inaccuracy in someone's statement . . .

1) It is interesting language and not even my best material.
2) Who am I? I won't buy the computer game for the balance of this season, maybe i'll buy it for next. Every other got on board to move the league forward except you. Imagine that. Typical you. Rich jokingly said "Apparently playing John makes people quit" Do you happen to have any games with John left?
3) See #2 and there's plenty more. Most people won't say anything because they choose to avoid conflict. They don't want to be construed as a bad guy. Me and conflict have been friends before and i'm real willing to revisit it in this case. One time I dare you to be part of the solution instead of the problem. Peter has quit whether you want to acknowledge it or not. He's in, he's out, he's in, he's out. let's just leave him out since he doesn't want to play in any format and call it a day.
Old, Old, Old, Old....
Again-Bye Felicia

What was Ryan's initial post? It says Ryan created this post but the first one I see is John's.

I don’t know where it went but I was asking to change my Rams to the Ravens as of next season since Brent has confirmed he is not returning

If I take one of the new teams (based on playing most games via computer), I would like to stake a claim to the Bears team name.

while I have not had luck getting my PC to accept the game this year, I am still following along. While unable to play the PC game to finish out this year, i have asked a few teams to play my games on my behalf to conclude the year. I fully expect that to be rectified for next season. Seahawks will be ready to go.

@brian - if injury modification (PC) is on the table for next season, I am 100% in. My game time concerns have been addressed.
